Whats best – PS3 or XBOX 360?

Im not looking for biased answers, i want factual ones please.

I myself have a PS3. I like the fact that the online (Playstation network) is free to use, there is the online ‘chatroom’ using characters that walk around and the PS3 plays Blu-ray movis which i know the Xbox 360 does not. Also the graphics for certain games are excellent.

Games with superb graphics that i have played are:

Metal Gear Solid 4
Heavy Rain
COD: Modern Warfare
COD: Modern warfare 2
Batman: Arkham Asylum

I have never really spent a great deal of time on an XBOX 360. But i do know that the online is supposed to be very good, although users have to pay an annual fee.

There are more games for the Xbox, which is probably because it was released much before the PS3, and the PS3 also now has a vast library of games to choose from.

What is your opinion?
MAX – HOW is the Xbox better? Please state your reasons

There is no correct answer to this very often asked question!

I would have to say the 360 is my choice because I did have a PS3 but after 5 months of not much use I sold it.

What you need to do is ask yourself these questions –
1) What do my friends play? No point getting a 360 if you friends play PS3.
2) What do I want from the machine? If you want a machine to be able to play blu-rays then you have to get the PS3. If you want the raw gaming experience then it will always be the 360 for me.
3) What exclusives do you want to play? Ratchet and clank, little big planet and MGS4 are all fantastic PS3 exclusives. However, 360 has gears of war, Halo, left 4 dead etc. Don’t buy a 360 if you want to play MGS4 for example!

Graphics wise I would challenge anybody to see the difference in the same game played on each machine. There may be slight differences but these will not have any affect on your playing experience whatsoever.

I know Xbox live is not free but in the UK you can get a 13 month subscription for about £26. Hardly expensive is it. I also believe that paying for the service ensures better features and reliability. Party chat, facebook, twitter, zune etc etc make it well worth the small annual fee!

360 all the way for me!
