What is a good graphic novel?
I work at my own graphic novel, so I'm looking for one where I could get a good influence. I'm really good with all the suggestions but here are a few criteria: "I like some of the [West, where I agree with] manga too. Super-heroes are good, but I want something a bit ordinary. I mean, between Batman and Superman, I am in search of Batman. And of course, I'm looking for something that could download or read online:) please give a brief description of your reply too:)
If you want something that is a little darker i would say the old Logan. It tells the story of how Logan to live the rest of the hero.

Paul Giamatti plays Pekar, who brings his workaday world to graphic life with help from artist pal Robert Crumb (James Urbaniak), becomes a cult celebrity with appearances on “Late Night with David Letterman,” and finds … |

Geoff Johns: This has been a tremendous opportunity to go back and look at the central core of the characters, the directions they’ve gone in over the years and the new takes we can bring to them. For me, the Justice League had become too much of a tight knit unit. Their … |

Batman: The Killing Joke, Deluxe Edition $9.60 The Killing Joke, one of my favorite Batman stories ever, stirred a bit of controversy because the story involves the Joker brutally, pointlessly shooting Commissioner Gordon’s daughter in the spine. This is a no-holds-barred take on a truly insane criminal mind, masterfully written by British comics writer Alan Moore. The art by Brian Bolland is so appealing that his depiction of the Joker … |

Batman: The Dark Knight Returns $10.00 If any comic has a claim to have truly reinvigorated the genre, then The Dark Knight Returns by Frank Miller–known also for his excellent Sin City series and his superb rendering of the blind superhero Daredevil–is probably the top contender. Batman represented all that was wrong in comics and Miller set himself a tough task taking on the camp crusader and turning this laughable, innocuous child… |
